Wang Hui has a doctoral degree in sociology and specializes in rural sociology, urban and rural social governance and social investigation and decision-making consultation. She is fully engaged in rural studies and has collected abundant data from China’s rural areas. She has written many in-depth reports and published more than 30 articles in the China Rural Survey, Youth Research, China Youth Research, Social Sciences, Journal of Humanities, The Population of the South and other academic journals. She is now heading a National Social Science Fund project on marriage and love of migrant workers, and is an active member of a number of other state-level research projects.
