He has long been engaged in decision-making consultancy on urban governance and community governance and presided over municipal and district projects whose quantity is more than 10 , such as “Study on the Construction of a New Social Governance System in Shanghai” and “Three-Year Action Plan to Strengthen Urban Delicacy Management in Huangpu District (2018-2020)”. Furthermore, he has participated in the research work of the annual major research projects of the CCP Shanghai Municipal Committee, including 2010 (Shanghai World Expo’s enlightment to social construction), 2011 (innovation in social management system), and 2014 (innovation in social governance, strengthening the grass roots’s construction). Many articles was published in journals such as < The Journal of Shanghai Administration college>, < Scientific Development> ( The Development Research Center of Shanghai Municipal People's Government), and by him. Moreover, he has served as the guiding expert of the annual innovation project at the Leading Group on Social Construction Office in Minhang District and Yangpu District in Shanghai. In addition, he is a member of the Chinese Sociological Association.
