Research on social policy and decision-making of disabled persons.

As an expert in vulnerable populations, Tang Xiao has been engaged in many projects, including: “A Study of the Policy for Welfare Factories for the Disabled Population in Shanghai” (2014-2015); “An Analysis of the Current Situation and Development Strategy of China’s Service-NGOs for the Disabled Population in Social Transition” (2012-2014); “A Study of an Index System for Evaluating the Life Quality of the Disabled in Shanghai” (2011-2013). She also acts as an executive board member of the China Disability Research Society.
